NYPA Continues With Turbine Refurbishment After License Renewal
The New York Power Authority (NYPA) has refurbished four of its turbine generators
at the St. Lawrence-Franklin D. Roosevelt Project, with work on a fifth now getting under way, said a NYPA spokesperson. The refurbishing is part of the Life Extension and Modernization (LEM) program to overhaul the station's 800-megawatt turbine-generators.
